This is a wonderful vintage 1940s ladies coat featuring a princess shape in a lower calf length. This 1940s ladies coat has very wide squared and padded shoulders with a jewel neckline. The coat has a defined waist and does up with six covered buttons down the front. The skirt of the coat is cut so as to flare out so that it falls in drapes - the draping is quite pronounced. The sleeves have turned cuffs. The coat is fully lined in black satin. There are eyes around the neckline to which one would hook a collar, probably originally a fur collar - you have the option of affixed a collar or removed the eyes.
